Boston – The 2008 Ride Antic Snowboard is a snowboard designed to ride the whole mountain under all conditions. The Antic is a FreeStyle board with a Twinish shape, the difference from a straight twin is that this board also allows you to have a stance that it is a little set back not a 100 percent centered stance.
The 2008 Antic features Ride’s standard Thin Con construction which is designed to reduce swing weight in all their boards. This snowboard also feature the 90a Slimewalls, which do a solid job of absorbing impact and interacting well with all conditions that the hit the surface. The Slimewalls coupled with the Carbon Array Laminate give you a board that is truely designed to rode in control no matter where you are on the mountain. You will notice that this board is super responsive and is not going to let you down when you are pressing hard down the mountain.
The 2008 Antic is then capped off with a Fusion 4000 base which Ride refers to as “The fastest, hardest and most durable base material known”. Overall this is a great all mountain board that you for a ride.

I took the antic for a demo run at the tamworth snow dome and despite
the shortness of the run still had fun with the board. It turns real easy, is a real smooth ride and responds to what ever you wana do so fast. I really love this board!
I bought a ride antic board this season and last night after riding I noticed that I had broke the top sheet on the nose of my board between the binding and the tip (starting at the edge and spider webbing across the board). I snapped the top sheet on a new (first season) Lib Tech magne trac T rice edition 165 last year. The break on that board was along the rear binding, probably from casing jumps. But this break is weird because I didn’t hit anything; nor did I land hard on the nose that I can remember. So I guess the Carbon Array Laminate doesn’t provide much structural rigidity/strength. I bought a ride thinking that it was going to provide a more durable board than Lib, but I guess I was wrong. I still have a receipt and hope that ride hooks me up with a new board and honors their warranty seeing how its still within the 1 season.
Did they give you a new board?? I have the same problem.
a frnd wants to sell me a ride antic thts 150cm and im 5ft 10in and weigh 150 is the board too short?
